| Photosafari "Trinidad and its natural environment" (COMING SOON) | Tour around one of the heritage cities of Cuba: Trinidad, its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture, as well as around its natural attractions for photographic activities. A tour guide and comfortable air conditioned transportation are included.
Because of being preserved with just a few changes the city of Trinidad, the third of the foundational villas built in 1514, represents one of the most coherent and authentic architectural and urban testimonies of Cuba and the Caribbean. That is the reason why its historic center and the Valle de los Ingenios were declared both as World Heritage Site in 1988. It owns one of the less anthropogenic landscape panoramas and most beautiful ones in the country. The Saint Luis Valley or Valle de los Ingenios is a unique natural reservoir where still lasts an important testimony of the sugar splendor of the first half of the nineteenth century.

Sierra de los Órganos or the Mogotes Sierra is located in the chain of Guaniguanico and consists of isolated karst hills separated by valleys where the soil is very fertile. Tobacco is the most important occupation in the area. The Sierra's name originates from its similarity to the organ, a musical instrument. The mogotes are conical and dome-like limestone shapes (CORO: En español aparece copulares, lo cambié a cupulares o cupulada que me pareció más lógico. La primera no aparece en ninguna parte y todo lo que encuentro son sinónimos de copular). They are distributed discontinuously, forming one of the most spectacular sceneries of the island. Among them are the Pan de Azúcar Mogote and the Cayo San Felipe Mogote. |
| Photosafari "Zapata Swamp: Life in the wetlands" (COMING SOON) | A tour around the southern area of Matanzas province, the Zapata Swamp, with a wonderful flora and fauna and landscapes. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve where pictures can be considered as a privilege. A tour guide and comfortable air conditioned transportation are included.
The Zapata Swamp has the largest area of wetlands in Cuba, approximately 300 000 hectares. There is also the most complex karst drainage system of the country, and because of the genetic potential of the present flora and fauna it is one of the best preserved green areas of the Antillean archipelago. About 56% of the wetland is forested, and it is estimated that there are about 900 different plant species, many of which are endemic. To this biodiversity can be added the presence of dozens fauna forms with 12 species of mammals, 160 birds, 31 reptiles and a great variety of amphibians and invertebrates. This region was recently declared as a Biosphere Reserve. |
